About Jared Mazzei
I have been a litigation attorney at the Ramos Law Firm since September 2022. Before moving to Colorado in 2016, I primarily practiced criminal law, first with the Office of the Public Defender’s Juvenile Division and then a private criminal law firm in Newark, New Jersey which also specialized in civil rights law. Since moving to Colorado, I have exclusively represented clients in personal injury matters involving violations of civil rights, sexual assaults, motor vehicle collisions, and slip and falls.
As a plaintiff’s attorney, my ability to effectively represent clients rests on building a strong relationship with them. It requires empathy, open communication, and a willingness to better understand them as a person beyond the facts of their case.
Spending quality time with my wife and our two young kids is a top priority in my life. Other than my family, backpacking with my German Shepard, and practicing law, woodworking is my passion. I enjoy transforming wood found on the side of the road into a piece of artwork or furniture. Currently, I am learning to incorporate welding into my art.
